Let’s cross over to Kampala Uganda where police arrested a former prime minister who wants to challenge president Yoweri Museveni for the ruling party's candidacy ahead of next year’s elections. Museveni’s opponent Amama Mbabazi was arrested while he was on his way to meet supporters at mbale, a town near Kenya’s border. On the same day, police also arrested another presidia aspirant, opposition leader Kizza Besigye.
