In the present, Haley and her twin brother, Lucas are driving to the latest victory after party. Haley is only invited because she is Nathan's girlfriend. Lucas, isn't Nate's biggest fan. During a game of I Never, Nathan humiliates Lucas by telling the table about his secret feelings for Peyton Sawyer, one of his sister's best friends. But, Lucas also reveals a secret about Nathan, but it's unnoticed by everyone. Nathan goes out to the dock to see his girlfriend, Haley. They talk and Haley tells him that she's worried about her brother. Lucas used to love basketball, he played on the RiverCourt with his friends, but when their mom died, he stopped. Nathan tells her not to worry, but she's still a little skeptical. *Wait up for the next episode.*
