Tutorial: MHP3RD in ENGLISH (6.60 ► 5.00 m33-6) PSP 1000/2000

**Expand me!** Hey guys! SgamingR here bringing you the long-awaited tutorial on how to get MHP3RD (Monster Hunter Portable 3rd) in ENGLISH on your PSP systems! For this tutorial, I will be covering the PSP 1000 (PHAT) and PSP 2000 (SLIM). I will upload a separate video showing how to get this on a PSP 3000. What do we learn in this tutorial? Going from Official Firmware (OFW) 6.60 (the latest one) to 5.00 m33-6 CFW (Custom firmware). This will enable us to play iso's, which include the english patched version of MHP3RD. Thing I forgot to mention in the video: • Be sure to have a memory stick with 2 GB or more (2 - 4 GB is strongly recommended, I personally have a 4 GB) NOTE: IF YOU HAVE A PSP 2000 If you want to check if your 2000 is hackable, take out your battery and check the date code. 

2000 Series Date Codes go as follows:

 7C: Hackable.

 7D: Hackable. 

7(Any Letter later than D): Hackable. 

8A: Hackable. 

8B: Hackable. 

8C: Has Very High Chance that it is Unhackable.

Drag whatever it asks you to drag into the circle (for human verification). Click on show links. Go the the first link, and press, "free download." In 12 seconds, your download will start. Wait until that finishes, and then download the 2nd one, and then the 3rd. Click on part 1, wherever it is saved onto your computer. Your program (unrarx or winrar depending on if you're using windows or mac) should extract from all three parts and create the "MHP3rd_v3.8-ffi.cso" Follow the tutorial from there. Make sure you're on OFW 6.60 2. Plug in your PSP to PC/Mac and open PSP files 3. Download "PSP 1/2 6.60 to 5.00 m33-6" 4. Place 500.pbp in root of your psp, place the other two folders, (PROUPDATE and RECOVERY) under PSP - GAME 5. Disconnect cable, go to your psp, go the game section, and open up the proupdate 6. Go through that; you should now have 6.60 PRO - B9. Now go to Hellcat's recovery flash, open up the program, make sure Target FW is at 5.00 and "install CFW (of version selected above). Make sure to reset (format) setting as well, as you might brick your psp if you don't. Now just wait while all the files are getting written. 7. Hit "x" once everything is done, and you should now have 5.00 m33-6. 8. In the Recovery menu, change "UMD Mode" to "M33 Driver," and CPU Speed - Speed in XMB to 222. 9. yay. 10. Go to your computer and plug your psp in, create an "ISO" folder in the root of your psp. 11. Click on the link I sent, download all three .rar files, and double click on part 1. 12. Drag the resulting .cso or .iso (whatever it is, I forgot), into the "ISO" folder you created. Disconnect and Congratz, you can play MHP3RD by going to your psp, go to game, and go down to memory stick. Hit "x" and BAM! MHP3RD. Please ask questions in the comments below, I'll get back to you!
