Turning the Northern Lights into music

You can't see the Northern Lights from Tacoma, Washington - or even from Latvia. But Latvian composer Eriks Esenvalds was inspired on a trip to Norway to write a multimedia symphony turning the aurora borealis into music. And he'll be in Tacoma this weekend as Pacific Lutheran University gives the U.S. premiere of his "Nordic Light Symphony." Photo credit: Eriks Esenvalds
