In this (belated) installment of Tuesdays TIps, Ryan DeLuca goes over one of the most important aspects of the business world: Networking. A recruiters motto is “It’s not always who you’re speaking with, but who they know.” Applying and landing jobs are one thing, but networking and expanding your professional sphere is a whole other ball park. Networking events are wonderful opportunities to not only meet new people, but build on the foundations of your career, learn from those who may have been in your field longer, meet a new business partner, start a project with someone, or just make a new friend. The opportunities that can arise from a networking event are seemingly limitless if done correctly.
