TTAG & HOTELIERS DEMAND REDUCTION OF GST TO 12 %_Prudent Media Goa

Travel and Tourism Association of Goa (TTAG) along with Hoteliers have met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Minister Mauvin Godinho. Complaining that India and Goa is losing business due to heavy tax, they have demanded reduction of GST from 28 % to 12 % on hotels and Chartered bookings. Minister Mauvin Godinho has assured them that he will place their issue before the GST council meeting scheduled in Goa on September 19th and 20th. Meanwhile, CM Sawant has stated that he will write to Finance Minister.
