TS80, QC3.0 Power Supply, TS100 Case, and Wowpad Review

Thanks to Banggood for sending these units for me to review, this review is entirely my opinion, good and bad, and I am not paid for any of these opinions. This is not a sponsored video. The TS80 is a strong replacement for the TS100 iron, same size, slightly more weight (5g), but a different tip ecosystem, so if you have invested in a lot of tips for the TS100, they are not compatible. My only major issue for the TS80 kit is the length of the USB-C cable is it is too short, at 1.02m I will need to have a powerpoint on the tabletop (which I do not normally) to use it. Other than that, I am pretty happy with how it works, though the default tip in my kit was probably not the best type for my personal preference, though I know a lot of people recommend using chisel tip. For the Wowpad magnetic holder, besides that it is small, it seems to hold small magnetisable things well. Tested with switch spring, diode legs, and reset switches, it did admirably. Pity the screws I had on hand were not magnetic! The pad itself also sticks to metal surfaces so if you had a metal splashback you could stick it to that and have your screws/springs held vertically! For the TS100 case, its pretty simple, decent in its design but the material choice inside is questionable in that while it looks good, it got scuffed up immediately in removing a tip. Perhaps something either smoother or less likely to be visible to marring/scuffing might have been a better choice. It fits the TS80 just fine but not the power supply unfortunately. Finally, the QC3 power supply, works like it should a few minutes of use it did not heat up notably, so the power draw from the TS80 at least shows it was not stressing its capabilities at all.
