Click here to Subscribe to Kerala Paithrukam Channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe6mCX3Tfvbm_V3GHQbXPTg ഭാരതത്തിലെ 108 വൈഷ്ണവ ക്ഷേത്രത്തില്‍ വിഷ്ണുവിനെ വാമന രൂപത്തില്‍ പ്രതിഷ്ടിച്ചുള്ള ഏക ക്ഷേത്രം എന്നതാണ് തൃക്കാക്കര ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പ്രത്യേകത. എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലാണ് തൃക്കാക്കര ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. അത്തം മുതൽ തിരുവോണം വരെ ചിങ്ങമാസത്തിലെ അത്തം നാളിലാണ് തൃക്കാക്കരയിലെ കൊടിയേറ്റ് പത്താം നാൾ തിരുവോണത്തിന് ആറാട്ട് നടക്കും. മുൻപ് കർക്കിടകത്തിലെ തിരുവോണം മുതൽ 28 ദിവസത്തെ ഉത്സവം ആയിരുന്നു. തൃക്കാക്കരയിൽ ഉത്സവത്തിന് വരാത്തവർ വീടുകളില്‍ തൃക്കാക്കരയപ്പനെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ച് ആഘോഷം നടത്തണമെന്ന് കേരളചക്രവര്‍ത്തിയായ പെരുമാള്‍ കല്‍പന പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചിരുന്നതായി പറയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായാണ് കേരളത്തിൽ തിരുവോണം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നതെന്ന ഒരു ഐതീഹ്യം നിലവിൽ ഉണ്ട്.
