What's up guys! So this is actually the FIRST class video I've uploaded to my channel which is kinda crazy, especially in today's current state of dance. However I'm choosing to post this clip not because I want to join in on the popular form of dance consumption or because this is the craziest clip ever. I'm choosing to post this clip because I feel like this piece is best captured in a class setting. This piece was created completely from a mindset of just having fun and vibing out with the people around you. And as I'm starting to get some more opportunities to teach class I have really been focusing on not only teaching my movement to the best of my ability, but also creating a class environment where everyone can learn and also enjoy themselves with the people around them. That's what makes class so special. That feeling of community, which you can't unless you are physically there in that moment. I want to thank The PROJECT out in Folsom, CA for making this class one of the best classes I've taught in a while and for being the perfect way to end my trip back home in Sacramento. That energy and the love you all have for dance is really something special and rare to find these days, so thank you for reminding me why I love teaching and am pursuing this career path. And s/o to my bro Anthony Westlake for taking class and having fun with me on this one (I didn't teach the ending and told him to just catch on to the ending and vibe with me lol).
