Tezara is fresh out of the Republic Military Academy, graduating at the top of her class, earning her first commission as a Sergeant in the Republic's most elite Special Forces unit, Havoc Squad, as an assault specialist. She is young, head-strong and cocky, but more than skilled enough to back it up. She is fearless in the face of danger and never shrinks from her duty. She has a keen, tactical mind and a steely, determined resolve, and will do whatever is necessary to complete the mission. Though that's not to say they she is completely reckless. She is very assured of her ability and conviction and does not shrink from a disagreement or confrontation with a superior officer regarding a mission's objectives and the means by which it can be completed. She is very much against killing innocents if it can be avoided, but will also rarely turn down the opportunity to inflict punishment upon an Imperial target, no matter how big or small. Having been raised in a military family, with relatives who have fought and died in the previous war with the Sith Empire, she has great pride in the Republic and its armed forces. She also has great mistrust for and hatred toward anything having to do with the Empire in general and the Sith in particular. She has made it her personal mission to defeat the Empire and the Sith at all costs, even if she has to do it herself; quite an ambition proposition, considering that she, being a Republic trooper, has no Force-sensitivity. But even with all this, she's not all duty all the time, but indeed has a great sense of humor, with an enviable ability to not always take herself too seriously, something many other soldiers of similar conviction have trouble developing.
