Treatment of a severe neck wound in a Horse - flushed, debrided and stitched with drain in situ

This horse sustained a quite severe laceration to the neck luckily just missing the carotid artery and jugular vein. Photo's were taken at the time of wound closure and regularly there after. These photo's were used to put this video together. You will see the extent of the wound, learn how we treated it and see the end result.
