Trailblazer Tunnel Ribbon Cutting

New “Trailblazer Tunnel” receives long awaited welcome ST. GEORGE, Utah - (8/27/19) - (Dixie State University) It’s taken almost 5 years for the vision to come to light. A new east-west pedestrian and bicycle tunnel underneath Interstate 15 in St. George is now open and ready for use. The connection is a major part of the city’s active transportation plan and also allows students at Dixie State University to get to classes faster and easier. The new tunnel is a collaborative effort among the City of St. George, Utah Department of Transportation, Dixie State University and the Dixie Metropolitan Planning Organization.
