Tools of the Trade - SkyMAXX Pro 4.5 in XP11 - revisited [English]

After SkyMAXX Pro was updated to 4.5 and it was claimed that performance was improved I thought I will give it a quick go and see if it may or may not be an alternative to xEnviro. Although it is not bad, it just doesn't cut it for me. The performance is still heavily impacted (on my low end box - may not apply to you) and I don't like the way clouds are drawn. Just my personal opinion - SkyMAXX Pro is not a bad tool - but to replace xEnviro it would require RealWeather Connector and the sound plugin from SkyMAXX. 3 plugins/payware items and RWC crashed XP10 more than once. xEnviro is not perfect either and we are all waiting for a long overdue update but I prefer it most of the time.
