Tokyo Ghoul OP | Unravel | Piano cover Animenz ver.

So I guess I'll write a little story in here: One year ago during the summer, I discovered the anime Attack on Titan. I absolutely loved the opening song, and once I was back home from school I looked on the internet to see if I could find a piano cover of the song to play. I had played piano for nearly my entire life before this, but I had recently stopped playing very much for about 2 years prior to this. The very first video I found was the Animenz arrangement of the song. I thought it was amazing and printed out the sheets to try to learn it. Turns out, it was way too hard for me, so I went back online to see if I could find an easier arrangement, and I found Ishter. From there I was learning about one of Ishter's arrangements every week. and I loved it. I attempted some other animenz arrangements along the way (This game and Swordland), but I could never really commit myself long enough to fully learn a piece. Eventually I started arranging, and I would continuously listen to Ishter and Animenz arrangements to help motivate me, and to give me ideas on how to play. Unravel has always been one of my favourite Animenz arrangements. I didn't really think I was capable of playing it when he posted it, and I didn't even attempt it until a couple months ago, when I decided I was finally going to sit down and fully learn an Animenz piece. So, here is the result of my work. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About the piece: So I'll be honest, it wasn't a very clean playthrough (especially the second half of the song), but I really wanted to get this done before go back home for Christmas break. While I was working on this I hardly worked on any other song the entire time (except for a little Haikyuu :P), and I'd really like to free up myself to work on new arrangements. I actually only did one take for this recording, for several reasons. First, I think this is the best I've ever managed to play that dubstep intro at 0:34, and I really doubt I would have been able to play it that cleanly again. Also, I still haven't managed to build up the endurance for this piece, so I can only really play it 1 or 2 times before I need to take a break anyways. So yeah, a good amount of slip ups, but I'm pretty happy with it since it's way more than I ever thought I'd be able to accomplish.
