TLE&W Railroad Motorcar Run May 21, 2011

The Toledo Lake Erie & Western Railroad had yet another motorcar run so far this year and it had a great turn out. 9 motorcars including the TLE&W's "A car" were in the parade. One motorcar even had a Southern Pacific P3 horn on it's roof off of an SP locomotive. There were many other motorcars in attendence also. Bryce (ohiofoamer7612) and I were working with the TLE&W helping out with flagging crossings and Bryce also drove the TLE&W's motorcar. A trip across the 901 ft. long bridge in Grand Rapids, Ohio was optional and only one motorcar took up the offer. They blew the wonderfull P3 across the bridge attracting attion from locals. You can see me flagging the crossing for the motorcar in Grand Rapids. That part of the line has been inactive for around 13 years due to major track problems a quarter mile from the bridge.
