Designed to adapt as a baby grows, the mat has been designed to offer various play experiences throughout a child's first twelve months. Sliding arches create a variety of play positions. For newborns, the Move & Play has classic features, including hanging toys, teethers, rattles, satin ribbon, a peek-a-boo snail with crinkly shell, a peek-a-boo butterfly with crinkly wings, a mirror, and a brightly colored, extra-large activity mat. The Move & Play also features lights and seven melodies. The hanging toys can be removed. The point where the arches cross can be repositioned from the traditional "dome" set-up to accommodate tummy time or a crawling infant. This gives parents better access when playing with their child. Push the green button on the arch connector and slide the connector to the desired position. Once you release pressure on the button, the arch connector will not move. The arches can also easily be removed by unsnapping them from the activity mat. The mat can be folded for storage. Turn it over and, with the printed side away from you, fold it in half and snap the two sides closed.
