町衆の気分で、祇園祭2012 "曳初め"-北観音山-

中京区六角町の北観音山。祇園祭の山鉾巡行に際し、北観音山でも"曳初め"が行われた。"曳初め"は、試運転とも言えるもので、本番では参加出来ない、地元の子供や女性、観光客でも気軽に曳く事が出来る。9トンを超える北観音山がギシギシと音を立て、祇園囃子と共に本番さながらで動く姿は圧巻。 当日は建てられた山に懸装品が取り付けられて行く姿も見る事が出来、いよいよ祇園祭が近づいて来た事を感じさせる。 The Kita Kannon yama of Rokkaku-cho, Nakagyo-ku. On the occasion of the yamahoko-junko of the Gion festival, "Hikizome" was performed also in the Kita Kannon yama. "Hikizome" can be said to be a test run, any peaple can participate that the local children, women, and the tourist who are not can also pull it freely. The figure of the Kita Kannon yama which over 9 tons moves with "Gion bayashi" (Japanese orchestra of Gion Festival) and makes sound creakily like public performance day is overwhelming. Youcan see the ornaments which put on the Yama on that day.
