Owning a powerful GPU like the NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti has exposed the age of my 5960X. It is still a very capable CPU but it does struggle to keep up in the lower resolutions with an overclocked GTX 1080Ti. I may not play at 1920X1080 but it is only a matter of time before my next GPU upgrade would start showing the cracks even at 3440x1440.
