2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser 2.4 Turbo Timing Belt and Water Pump Installation Time Lapse (Putting Back Together) This is a time lapse turning one hour into one minute of video. It is not a how to video and does not explain the job. I do not encourage anyone to try to do this job at home without knowing it is a job that most mechanics dont like to do. The big bracket/mount is very hard to get in and out the first times you do it, but practice helps. Tools required are pretty basic except for the crankshaft pulley puller(special tool) and timing belt wise(line up the marks) the job is easy, it is just very tight and somewhat time consuming especially on the turbo, I want to say it pays 6 or 8 hours. A hoist and floorjack make this easier too. Radiator and fan came out to give a little more room.
