One of the last and most devastating eruptions in Canarian history took place in the 18th century in the Easternmost island, Lanzarote, when Timanfaya covered a large surface of the island. Nowadays, the ground is still hot and the landscape desolated. We visit this field of volcanoes that covers the Southwestern side on dromedaries and try Diablo restaurant, one of the few that uses geothermal power in the form of a grill to cook.
