Thunder Zone aka Desert Assault (Arcade/Data East/1991) [720p]

Desert Assault (known in Japan as Thunder Zone (サンダーゾーン?)) is a 1991 run and gun arcade game by Data East. In this arcade game, up to four players control four soldiers holding machine guns and other projectile weapons, while fighting their way through the terrorist arsenal to take control of the Persian War. Desert Assault (also known as Thunder Zone) was manufactured by Data East in 1991 and released same year for the Arcades. It's a very nice and sometimes difficult shmup game where you play as the members of commando unit up to 4 players on screen! As I wrote about the difficulty it applies mainly to the bosses which are very tough and with basic weapons they take unbelievably long time to destroy. There are several weapons to pick up in this game like basic machine gun, bazooka or shotgun, but there are also flamethrowers, anti tank rifles and a weapon that you should carry all the time - heavy machine gun.
