Two new local clusters of COVID-19 cases in Singapore were identified on Feb 12, bringing the total to five. Three new cases were also reported, including a DBS Bank staff member and two employees of Grace Assembly of God church. DBS told 300 employees to evacuate Marina Bay Financial Centre following confirmation of the infection. In a media conference, Health Minister Gan Kim Yong said Singapore has to brace itself for possible bad news, as authorities said it is too early to tell when cases in the country will peak.
