Thika Estate Demolition

A standoff is looming between residents of view land estate in Thika and the ministry of roads, after their houses were earmarked for demolition. The houses are said to have been built on a road reserve. However, the residents are crying foul, saying that their papers are in order, and that Thika county council had given them the go ahead to build their homes in the area.
