The Woman I Have Become

The STATS: 33% of women living with HIV in Canada are African and or Caribbean. In Toronto that number is double. Last week the United Nations revealed that illnesses related to HIV/AIDS is the number one cause of death among women. This is the beginning of a 60 min documentary looking into the lives of African and Caribbean women living with HIV in Toronto. The video was commissioned by Women's Health in Women's Hands-CHC, Black CAP and several other ASO in Ontario. The complete video is available in six languages, Amharic, Arabic, French, Somali and Swahili and English through WHIWH-CHC.
