Dr Robyn Thompson, founder of The Thompson Method for breastfeeding aims at preventing and overcoming sore nipples, based on her research and over 45 years experience in midwifery.
In 2014, Dr Robyn was awarded a PHD where the main topic of question was "Why do so many women present with breastfeeding complications and problems, particularly varying degrees of painful nipple trauma in the early postnatal period?"
