THE SHOW SS20 | Desigual

We don’t change our logo every day, neither do we create a collection able to mark a before and and after in our path. For that matter, we decided to create a very special experience to share with the world for this amazing moment: Desigual the SHOW. A show with lots of music, lights, color and emotions that took place on June, 13th 2019 just next to our beach (la Barceloneta) and our headquarters, where more than 60 dancers and 1200 guests helped us narrate per acts the story of our future. RUN OF SHOW. Act 1 - HUMANS. (00:50 – 01:12) A man and a woman, naked and holding hands. The meaning and strength of that image created for us by the catalan artist Peret in 1986 is timeless. Act 2 - the ICON. (01:17 – 02:47) Born of the mix and to mix. Made with two of the most universal materials there are: creativity and denim. A perfect canvas to let dreams* flow. *(Dreams like those of the artist and actor @Jordi Mollá. Did you recognized him? He makes an appearance at 03:15. And yes, there also are some designs of Rowart by the amazing @Okuda ). Act 3 - the FUTURE. (04:16 – 04:24) Pure logic. We turn our logo around making an homage to who we really are since 1984: unique and different. 100% Desigual. Act 4 - the LOVE. (04:25 – 10:32) We love who we are, we love what we do, we love who we do it for and with whom we do it. We love everything that’s around us. And yes: love makes us make huge (and wonderful) craziness (like this one). What would we do without love? For that matter, our new Spring Summer 2020 collection has its name: Love, Love, Love. Act 5 - lnBETA. (10:35 – 12:37) Our history isn’t just ours. It’s also yours. And @MirandaMakaroff’s. And Monsieur Christian Lacroix’s. And Rubén… Act 6 - Ourselves. PERIOD. Por eso, decidimos crear una experiencia muy especial para compartir con el mundo este increíble momento: Desigual el SHOW. Un espectáculo de música, luz, color y emoción a raudales que tuvo lugar el 13 de junio de 2019 a orillas de nuestra playa (la Barceloneta) y de nuestros headquarters, donde más de 60 bailarines y 1200 invitados nos ayudaron a narrar por actos una historia llena de futuro: la nuestra. La simbología y fuerza de esta imagen creada para nosotros por el artista catalán Peret en 1986, traspasa el tiempo. Acto 2 - la ICON. (01:17 – 02:47) Nacidos de la mezcla y para mezclarnos. Hechos de los dos materiales más universales que existen: la creatividad y el denim. Un canvas perfecto para dar rienda suelta a los sueños*. *(Sueños como los de el artista y actor @Jordi Mollá. ¿Lo has reconocido? Aparece en el 03:15. Y sí, también hay diseños de RowArt by el sensacional @Okuda ) Acto 3 - the FUTURE. (04:16 – 04:24) Pura lógica. Damos la vuelta a nuestro logo rindiendo homenaje a lo que somos desde 1984: únicos y diferentes. 100% desiguales. Acto 4 - el LOVE. (04:25 – 10:32) Amamos quiénes somos, amamos lo que hacemos, amamos para quién y con quién lo hacemos, y amamos todo lo que nos rodea. Y sí. El amor nos lleva a cometer grandes (y maravillosas) locuras (como esta). ¿Qué seríamos sin él? Por eso, nuestra colección Primavera Verano 2020 lleva su nombre. Acto 5 - lnBETA. (10:35 – 12:37) Nuestra historia ya no es solo nuestra. También es tuya. Y de @MirandaMakaroff. Y de Lacroix. Y de Rubén… Acto 6 - Ourselves y punto.
