After escaping from the Overlook Hotel's labyrinth, armed with his ax, Jack Torrance is still searching after his wife Wendy and his son Danny. Walking in the center of Vinewood by night, he found the Vanilla Unicorn, an hotel haunted by a lot of ghosts, formerly built on an old indian cemetery. Based on the characters created by Stephen King and modified for the screen by Stanley Kubrick and Diane Johnson, the script of THE SHINING 2 was written by Arthur Penny himself. Trevor Philips told Weazel News about the filmmaking of THE SHINING 2 : "Arthur Penny was a real tyrant on the set, probably more than was Kubrick on the first one. This guy never laughs, except when I hurt not so accidentally a stuntman with my real ax...
