The Scariest Thing This Halloween Won't Be The Costumes... But The Candy?!?

In recent months the FDA had pushed for new food labeling laws. While this is a step in the right direction, it is not perfect and we need to send a clear message to the food companies as well as GMO food producers that we must eliminate these from our diet. It makes it very hard when they are using our children as pawns to put us as parents in a hard position along with social pressure from commercials, media, less informed parents and children, and their peers. We were able to find organic options as well as a few name brand options. What was scary is that 9 out of 10 name brand candies were made with GMO ingredients! The notable ones that did not include GMO's were: Plain M&M's, Snickers, Payday, and hersheys chocolate.... Not a very happy halloween if that is all your kid can have.
