The Quint: Infiltrators Caught on Camera Crossing the Jammu Border

On 11 July 2016, infiltrators were caught on camera passing through the border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Hiranagar sector. At around 3 am, a group of infiltrators were seeing tiptoeing through the bushes across the border. Alert Border Security Forces (BSF) notified suspicious movement, following which the infiltrators were quick to take refuge in the bushes. Later the same morning, the BSF took the matter up with Pakistan Rangers, who gave assurances that there was no terrorist activity in the area. The Pakistan Rangers then pretended to conduct search operations and whisked away the infiltrators, claiming them to be rangers.
