Here at XDA we love open source software. Not just because of its cost, though that doesn't hurt. There are many reasons open source software is great: security, quality, freedom, customizability and being able to see what the code does for yourself. These are the reasons we like open source software. But let's not be blind fanbois, there are - as the title says - problems with open source software.
