The Problem With Mainstream Feminism

Tomiwa has a problem with mainstream feminism. Whilst Tomiwa considers herself a feminist, she believes the mainstream feminist movement is not inter-sectional enough. It continues to forget about women of colour, disabled women, LGBT+ women and women who are simply not white and middle class. When the mainstream feminist movement becomes inclusive to ALL women, real progress can be made. "Maybe one day, my great great great great great grandchildren will be living in a world where feminism is something learned about in history books".
