Most of the famous score for this film was composed by Trevor Jones, with some additional music added by Randy Edelman. And the driving, pulsating theme heard in this wonderful scene was adapted from 'The Gael', by Dougie MacLean. But wherever the music came from, it works wonderfully in this thrilling cliffside chase scene. Trevor Jones' sweeping main theme makes a grand entrance at the 2:15 mark of this clip.
Directed by Michael Mann, and starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stowe, Russell Means, Wes Studi and the irreplaceable Pete Postlethwaite. Music composed by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman.
