A horrific tragedy involving a bus loaded with young hockey players, coaches and staff collided in an intersection in Saskatchewan, Canada, recently.
We take a look at the circumstances. There's no doubt in this case who is to blame.
The bus had the right of way. What was the tractor trailer with a set of B trains doing in the middle of the intersection at the time?
Did he run the stop sign? Did he SEE the stop sign? Was the bus speeding? Was the truck driver guilty of distracted driving?
There are many many factors which the investigation will need to determine to piece together and recreate that fateful tragedy which unfolded on April 6, 2018 in Northern Saskatchewan.
We at Smart Trucking consistently preach full undivided attention at every moment when driving.
Here's a perfect example what CAN and DID happen when someone took their eyes off the ball for a split second.
DEVASTATION.
