The Highgrove Florilegium: A Visit with Iain Bain

Chet Grycz interviews typographer Iain Bain, who was responsible for the design of The Highgrove Florilegium. At the invitation of His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales, Addison Publications have published England's First Royal Florilegium - a fine art facsimile of original watercolours painted of plants, fruit and vegetables in The Prince's garden at Highgrove in Gloucestershire.The edition, dedicated by the Artists to His Royal Highness, is limited to just 175 numbered sets of two volumes. In total the two volumes contain 124 plates and The Prince received his second and final volume in July 2009 at the party given by The Prince to thank the artists and those involved in the production for their involvement in the project. www.addisonpublications.com
