The Hawk at Road America Group 2 Feature Race 7-20-14

This is Sunday's Group 2 Feature Race. I had been having gearbox and carburetor linkage problems, missed a couple of the qualifying sessions, and started dead last in the Feature Race. We got things fixed, the car was running well, and I picked up 7 positions on the first lap. But...with just over a lap to go, my race came to a sudden and painful end coming out of Turn 12 as I attempted to put more distance between myself and the trailing MGA. I didn't know it, but I was running first in class at the time. Ouch!
