The DIY bintang flasher

In this video I show how to make a DIY flasher while you are on a trip. I had forgotten my flasher, so my Dad and I took anything shiny that we could find and put it all together to make the flasher. We cut up some bintang beer cans since the inside is shiny, hence the name 'Bintang flasher' :) Unfortunately my GoPro batteries went flat before I got the action of catching fish on film, however I later got some pictures that showed the catch. Even though the flasher was very basic, it shows that you don't always need the latest and greatest gear to get good fish - and you certainly don't always need to spend a lot of money on every bit of diving gear.
