Paul McBeth was on a quest for the Disc Golf Grand Slam in 2013 but came up short at The United States Disc Golf Championships. He finished on a high note setting the Winthrop Gold Course Record with a score of 52 during his final round. That would not be enough to catch his teammate, Steve Brinster. McBeth returns this year with less pressure but one more World Championship title to his name. Like 2013’s opening round he is paired with Avery Jenkins for Wednesday’s round. Also joining the card is Gregg Barsby and Chris Waugh. Four competitors all from the West Coast and they are locked in and ready to take on the ropes at Winthrop Gold.
