The Creb 2018 4x4 Off-Road Adventure - Toyota HZJ80 | 1UZ Hilux | VDJ76

Hey Guys and Gals! In this video we tackle on of the most iconic tracks in Far North Queensland, The Creb. We began our journey from the Sunshine Coast and Christian and Ash began there journey from Brisbane. We stayed in Port Douglas the night before and got up early to hit the road and start The Creb track before 9 am. We were watching the weather forecast and checking the sky all morning on the way up to make sure there wasnt going to be any rain. Being a Clay Based track at the begining it can turn bad real fast with only a little big of rain! We made it to the sign and the weather was good so we aired down to around 20PSI all around and began the dirt road journey to the first river crossing of the Daintree River. The track was a little slippery even though there was no rain recently but with the tyres down there was no issues getting up the hill climbs. After crossing many beautiful creeks we stopped for lunch at a small creek about halfway along the track. After lunch we commenced the track right up to Roaring Meg Falls day use area and spent a bit of time exploring the walking tracks around that area. The Roaring Meg Falls are of cultural significance to the Aboriginal people so they ask that there is no alcohol or drugs on the land and that you dont take any photos or videos of the Meg Falls themselves. It makes it that little bit more special. It is an amazing spot and is well worth the trip in itself to see the falls. But you'll have to get up there yourselves and check it out ;) After the falls we finished off The Creb and ended up at the northern end and continued on to The Lions Den Hotel for a camp!
