The reenactment of the battle at Fort Cooper, during the
Second Seminole War, that took place at Fort Cooper
Days March 16-17 2013 at the Fort Cooper State Park.
Fort Cooper Days is an opportunity to experience Florida
history during the Second Seminole War re-enactments,
which were held twice daily- once at 11 a.m. and again
at 2 p.m.
The reenactments depict events that took place during
the construction of the fort at the park and authentic
Military & Seminole camps were open for visitors to
explore. Living history demonstrations and exhibits
were held throughout the day.
The event also included arts & crafts, exhibits, entertainment,
food and refreshments.
