The 5-fold ministries of Ephesians 4:11

Did you know that the role/function of pastors are just one of five ministries of Ephesians 4:11? “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:11-12‬ ‭KJV‬‬ These ministries are for the benefit of the church so the fullness of Christ becomes available in each church (Christ had all and he gives a part of Himself to different members to edify the rest). A church that only has pastors becomes unbalanced and prone to various problems. The goal of leaders is to identify these giftings and activate them into service for the edification/equipping of all the saints. Over the last 2,000 years since the birth of the church at Pentecost, the predominant role of pastor has been elevated and taken center stage.
