The 2014 Francophone Film Encounters opened in China

The 2014 Francophone Film Encounters opened in China. It is a film festival held every March, when everyone will celebrate for francophone world. This is also the only opportunity provided by French ambassador for Chinese audience to discover French culture and linguistic diversity. Nineteen films from 19 countries and regions will show on tour in 18 cities in China, and most of them have never exposed to the Chinese audience. Acoustic films will be shown free of charge, with the French or English and Chinese subtitles. At Instituto Cervantes de Pekín, director Mr. Walter Tournier from Uruguay introduced us to the artistic work Selkirk, which is a Stop-motion animation suitable for all ages made by him and his wife—artistic director Mrs Lala Severi.
