Recipe - 1
Eathaykka (cut into peices) – 1 cup
Prawns – 200gm
shallots (cut into peices) – 2 tsp
garlic chopped – 1/2 tsp
ginger chopped – 1/2 tsp
greenchilly sliced - 2
salt – as required
corinder powder – 1 1/2 tsp
turmeric powder,-1/2 tsp
chilly powder – 1 tsp
cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
Preparations
Heat oil in a pan
Saute shallots, garlic,ginger and greenchilly
Add prawns into it.
Add adequate salt.
Mix eathaykka into it and add some water.
Allow to boil for a few min
Roast the coconut
when its colour changed as brown add corinder powder, turmeric powder,
add shallots, cumin seeds,
add chilly powder, salt
Roast the coconut untill its turned golden brown
Grind the coconut as fine paste
add the paste into the prawns-eathyka mix.
when its boil splutter the mustard,dry chilly,curry leaves and add it to the dish
