Thailand's tourism sector suffers from China's coronavirus outbreak

China's ban on outbound tour groups due to coronavirus has hit Thailand's tourism industry. The sector relies heavily on Chinese holidaymakers. Thai authorities estimate that reduced travel from China alone could result in a two billion U.S. dollar loss in tourism revenue.
