The Western States Trail Ride, popularly called the Tevis Cup, is the annual 100-Mile One-Day horseback endurance ride from Tahoe, CA to Auburn, CA. This footage was taken July 20, 2013 at approximately 8 miles into the ride, where the riders use the trail underpass to cross Highway 89. There were 160 entrants who started the ride this year.
