this test is for TEC1-12715
Sorry that I dont speak - it is filmed at night and my child is sleeping in other room
Test platform #2:
2 pieces of TEC1-12715 wired serially
left multimeter is showing volts, right is showing Amps
output is connected to red powerled
coffe maker hotplate is used as heat source, two peltiers are sandwitched between hotplate and CPU heatsink.
output was 2.12V and 0.39A
Conclusion: seems that less powerful peltier can produce higher voltage and at least when powering this red led it makes more power. It is cheaper to buy and works better.
Does it works always like that - to use peltier as TEG, should we use less powerful peltiers?
