I'm the guy who played the melodies on the left Tesla coil, controlling it from Lippold Haken's Continuum Fingerboard.
Some info about the music: this is a prog-rock piece I wrote called "The Island at the Center of the World". It lasts about 15 minutes and this is the second half. The right Tesla coil was being driven by a MIDI sequence. On the audio backing tracks (which are not very audible above the coils!) I played guitar and keyboards and Mike Novak played drums. The Tesla coils were built by Steve Ward and Jeff Larson, and Steve built the box that allows the Tesla coils to be driven by MIDI. Thanks again for posting it.
