Tenkara Diaries: Trout, Carp Bass and Bluegill on tenkara

Besides the simplicity of tenkara what first attracted me to it was the fact that it was a tool designed specifically for mountain streams, the type of water I like most. And, whenever I can I'm fishing a mountain stream. But, there is plenty of water and other types of fish very close by. This week I decided to take the tenkara rod out to these nearby waters and catch other types of fish on tenkara: carp on tenkara, bluegill on tenkara and bass on tenkara. They were all a hoot.
