Temper 2: Second Attempt at Home Glass Tempering

I'm trying to temper glass to use in glass flasks to avoid buying so much tempered glass. I have ready access to free 1/4" plate glass and a kiln to heat in. So far my success is limited. Looking for suggestions from people with real experience tempering glass.
