Teachers Strike Starts

The teachers strike called by the Kenya National Union of Teachers is on after a crisis meeting chaired by Prime Minister Raila Odinga failed to yield a solution. During the meeting, the government could not commit to hiring new teachers whilst the union maintained it would not call off the strike unless that happened. Andrew Ochieng reports.
