Tanim Hayat Khan (Sarode) and Abhijit Dan (Tabla)

Raaga: Misra Bhairavi. The first composition is from Ustad Ali Akbar Khan's album "Journey". The name of the composition is "Mother Goddess". Tanim Hayat Khan Rajit: Rajit is mainly a Sarod player, but he inherited his musical voice from his mother's side. His parents are Mobarak Hossain Khan and Fauzia Yasmin. Rajit's Aunts are none other than the other famous three Yasmins: Farida Yasmin, Nilufar Yasmin and Sabina Yasmin. Tanim Hayat Khan Rajit is the grandson of Maestro Ustad Ayet Ali Khan. Ustad Ayet Ali Khan is the younger brother of Ustad Baba Allauddin Khan. Tanim started learining Sarode from his cousin brother Sarode Maestro Ustad Shahadat Hossain Khan. Later after moving to Sydney Australia Tanim started learning undect supervision of Dr Adrian McNeil, disciple of Pandit Ashok Roy. Pandit Ashok Roy was the disciple of Tanim's uncle Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. Currently Tanim is learning Sarode from his another cousin the emerging Sarode Maestro Alam Khan, Son of Ustad Baba Ali Akbar Khan. Professionally Tanim is an Accountant, after working for a Chartered Accounting Firm for couple years, Tanim joined as an Accounting and Finance Teacher of TAFE (Department of Education, NSW) Abhjit Dan:
